That’s my 15 second pitch. Does it give a good impression of who I am and what my music sounds like?
It’s tough to boil it all down to a simple, concise statement, but that’s what’s necessary these days.

Growing up in Northern California, John was singing at age 2 and eventually took up trumpet and piano.
After school, he headed for the world of gigging and for most of the 80s, he could be found in Holiday Inns and other swanky venues up and down the West Coast.
Settling in Ashland, OR in the 90s, John played jazz and also accompanied meditations at various spiritual gatherings around the US and the world. One memorable gig found him playing a synthesizer at the pyramids in Egypt!
Now John composes primarily for production music libraries. Placements have included: Harpo Productions, HBO (True Blood), Discovery and History channels.
He currently resides in San Francisco with his lovely wife Jean and his Maltese doggy, Winston.
